Tools of the trade

Some men wear suits. Some wear coveralls. Some lace up sneakers. Some pull on camouflage. (Some wear all four.)

Whatever your mission, every man needs gear. Cufflinks or Carhartt—life has a way of throwing situations at you without warning.

A good fixed or folding blade handles more than most expect. A solid multitool handles even more.

A spare shirt can solve problems after a workout—or in a true emergency.

If you carry concealed—or simply prefer your pants stay where they belong—a quality belt matters. The right one isn’t just comfort; it’s utility (I've used mine for a tourniquet more than once).

Even a day at the lake calls for preparation. A hat. A solid tumbler. Hydration—whatever that looks like. (hey, Christ’s first miracle kept the party going. Just be wise about it.)

The point isn’t paranoia. It’s readiness.

Check my recommended gear picks below and don't be without means for the situations you do and don't see coming!
